Skillful Warriors (noun) - a welcoming community of growth-seekers
We are a community of men learning to be real and open-hearted with other men; women finding our voice in a world that hasn't always made it easy to be heard; couples connecting more deeply by sharing what we need; the newcomer, happily holding the door open for whomever might walk through next.
The term "Skillful Warrior" was born from the saying, "The sharper the sword, the thinner the armor." Applying a psychological lens, the sharper our set of therapeutic tools, the thinner our protective defenses need to be. So the more skills we add to our tool belt, the more available we are to connect with ourselves and those around us. Things like emotional awareness and new means of communication become relationship gold.
Not the easiest path, of course. It's not for everyone.
That's why those who say, "Yes!" when given an opportunity to grow, even when the voice trembles, can be seen as modern day warriors.

Here is where we commit to diving deeper in a curious, courageous kind of way. We get to unlearn our autopilots and learn new ways of responding to feelings and communicating and taking up space in the world. My style mixes education and exploration, with two hefty side doses of a truly safe space and just the right amount of laughter.
