aBOUT JUSTIN
Justin Green is the cofounder and lead facilitator of Skillful Warriors, as well as a program specialist and outdoor guide at Miraval Resort in Lenox, Massachusetts. An experiential facilitator by trade, his work spans men’s circles, workshops, music, bodywork, and retreats — all rooted in helping people build more honest, skillful relationships with themselves and others.
As a multi-instrumentalist, therapeutic improviser, and group facilitator, Justin brings a relational and experiential approach to everything he teaches. His work has taken him around the world, from living room kirtans and local men’s retreats to yoga festivals and teaching Thai Yoga Massage at a mindful recovery center in Southeast Asia.
Justin’s facilitation style is largely an extension of his personality: a blend of honest observations, insightful questions, humor, improvisation, and just enough challenge to keep things engaging.
His workshops explore themes such as anxiety, empowerment, boundaries, communication, and men’s work — often through the feelings-and-needs-based framework of Nonviolent Communication. Drawing from his background in music and bodywork, he weaves embodied and experiential elements into his teaching, creating spaces that balance education with real-time practice, reflection, and connection.
At the heart of his work is the belief that meaningful growth happens not just through insight, but through lived relational experience.
Justin's background includes a B.A. in Clinical Psychology and Comparative Religion from Tufts University and has completed extensive bodywork training through the Kripalu School of Massage, the Sunshine School in Chiang Mai, and the CORE Structural Institute.
His professional background includes developing a wellness program for the College Internship Program, working as an adventure-based counselor at Mountainside Treatment Center, and teaching Thai Yoga Massage workshops internationally.
When not facilitating workshops or hosting circles, Justin can often be found in the woods with his dog, building community through ritual and ceremony, playing music, or seeking out the world’s best chocolate.
