About the Event
This monthly Sociopolitical Book Club developed out of an increasing call to have an informed, politically-based conversation in an accessible, respectful space. The goal here, in simplest form, is not to convince or debate; it is to learn, inform, and connect - and, perhaps, to inspire and engage. We will be selecting books from a range of genres - history, politics, psychology, nonfiction, sociology, and anything else that helps us show up more fully and prepared to meet the modern moment. This ranges from a book summarizing the history of capitalism to how to have hard conversations and everything in between.
